Speed Block

Enjoy 3 brick-building modes:

Infinite (Main Mode)

Stack blocks with satisfying drops or precise placement to complete builds of multiple themes to get the highest score possible! Completing a build perfectly increases your score multiplier but placing a block in the incorrect position or in one that prevents another block from being placed in the correct position will decrease your energy. When your energy bar gets all the way to zero, it's game over!

Learn the basic mechanics of Speed Block.

A sandbox mode where you can build instructions-free and start fresh whenever you'd like!

Controls:

Space Bar - Tap to Drop Block

Up Arrow/W Key - Tap to Change Block Color

Down Arrow/S Key - Hold down until block is at specific height then release to place it at that height

This game saves your high score!

Development:

This game was super fun to develop! Although there were many bugs that took lots of time to eliminate, the basic game loop just felt so satisfying to play. I created 12 builds (4 builds/Environment (Grass, Beach, Space)) + a tutorial build template for the initial release.
